Ashwagandha Powder

  • Whole Roots: Should be firm, cylindrical, and have a brownish-white to light brown color.
  • Cut Roots: Should be clean and free from foreign matter.
  • Powder: Should be a fine, off-white to light brown powder.
  • Taste: Bitter, pungent, and slightly sweet.  
  • Size: Roots should be of a reasonable size and thickness.
  • Freedom from Defects: Should be free from mold, decay, insect damage, and foreign matter.
