durable and breathable.
- Top-Grain: Second highest quality, top layer removed, more uniform appearance, less
durable and breathable than full-grain.
- Genuine Leather: Can be any layer, often lower quality, may be treated to resemble
higher grades, least durable.
- Suede: Leather with a napped finish, soft and comfortable, but less durable and
requires more care.
- Nubuck: Similar to suede but with a finer nap, softer and more luxurious, but also
more delicate.
- Exotic Leathers: Ostrich, crocodile, etc., unique characteristics and high price
points.
- Calfskin: Soft, supple, and breathable, commonly used for high-quality shoes.
- Sheepskin: Warm and comfortable, often used for winter boots or slippers.
- Pigskin: Durable and moisture-wicking, a more affordable option.
